Service Role
Helperlink provides worker screening, training, matching, and placement support for household staff. Unless separately agreed, Helperlink does not directly employ the worker.
Household Responsibility
Households are responsible for:
- Providing accurate requirements
- Treating workers respectfully
- Paying agreed salary on time
- Providing a safe working environment
- Clearly explaining duties and expectations
- Following agreed terms
Worker Responsibility
Workers are responsible for:
- Providing accurate information
- Attending work on time
- Performing agreed duties
- Respecting household rules
- Maintaining privacy and confidentiality
- Communicating honestly about availability and issues
Verification
Helperlink may collect identity details, address information, emergency contacts, experience details, and references where available. Verification reduces risk but does not remove all risk.
Training
Helperlink provides practical training and guidance based on the worker’s role. Training does not guarantee perfect performance in every household situation.
Placement and Replacement
Replacement support may be available according to the agreed replacement policy. Replacement depends on role type, worker availability, location, household requirements, and the terms agreed at placement.
Limitation of Responsibility
Helperlink aims to improve the hiring process but cannot guarantee that every placement will be free of issues. Households and workers are expected to communicate clearly and act responsibly.
Changes to Terms
Helperlink may update these terms from time to time.
